With paid subscriptions you can go back and look for products added or inventory updates over a year or longer. With paid subscriptions, you can simply update your Action Dates via the calendar to go back a year plus if needed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"test-with-a-single-action-first-send-standard-items\"><a href=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/kb\/lightspeed-bigcommerce-creating-new-products-and-updating-existing-products-inventory-price#test-with-a-single-action-first-send-standard-items\">#<\/a>&nbsp;<strong><em>Test with a single Action first (Send Standard Items)<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See the below sample list of Actions used to create products below.<\/strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1645818465453.png\" alt=\"file\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1645818994729.png\" alt=\"file\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1645819043200.png\" alt=\"file\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Note: Each Action will also need to be configured<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>First create all your categories in BigCommerce by adding the Category Actions into its own Task. Do not turn on the Task schedule, since all categories are sent up on each RUN of the task. All new products that are added in Bigcommece will then be associated with the matching LightSpeed category.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1649784087406.png\" alt=\"file\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Criteria to Create a New Product in BigCommerce from LightSpeed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1557778883573.jpg\" alt=\"file\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Note: The Unique Identifier is the product SKU that ties the two systems together.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Create Simple Products &amp; Update Price (Send Standard Item Action)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Item has SKU in LightSpeed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Item has a Weight in LightSpeed, which can be zero.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The item was marked in LightSpeed for List Item on Sale on Web Store with a \u2018webstore\u2019 tag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Item is Active in LightSpeed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Item has a Product Name in LightSpeed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Item has a Category in LightSpeed (categories are required to create products in BC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Create Matrix Products (Send Matrix Item Action)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>See the above requirements for simple (standard) items, plus the below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parent Item has been updated with a new database time stamp and has &#8216;webstore&#8217; tag.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For existing products in BC, Parent Names need to match to update the price.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All children (attributes\/options) Items in LightSpeed have a SKU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>See below the list of Actions needed to Create a New Matrix Item and Updates.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"631\" height=\"622\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-20.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-185\" srcset=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-20.png 631w, https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-20-300x296.png 300w, https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-20-50x50.png 50w, https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-20-60x60.png 60w, https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/image-20-100x100.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 631px) 100vw, 631px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Note to test creating a new matrix product simply update the Parent item and verify it has a \u2018webstore\u2019 tag. For example just change the cost or price of the parent, hit save and all child items will create after you run your eSync Task.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1644951705459.png\" alt=\"file\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>List Item on Webstore &#8211; LightSpeed Web Store Module &#8211; It\u2019s Free!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Please contact LightSpeed support via Chat and inquire about getting the Free webstore module for 3rd party integrations.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/uploads\/inline_files\/image-1540413069123.png\" alt=\"file\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Note: The time stamp for creating products in LightSpeed is different from the time stamp to update inventory only in LightSpeed. So, running your Send Products Action after a sale in your POS will not update inventory.
