{"id":910,"date":"2025-10-13T19:00:32","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T19:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=910"},"modified":"2025-10-13T19:08:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-13T19:08:09","slug":"sending-woocommerce-orders-to-lightspeed-x-series-pos-and-update-stock","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/help.kosmosesync.com\/index.php\/knowledge-base\/sending-woocommerce-orders-to-lightspeed-x-series-pos-and-update-stock\/","title":{"rendered":"Sending WooCommerce Orders to LightSpeed X-Series POS and update stock"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>How to send WooCommerce orders to LightSpeed Retail and update stock<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Now that you have tested a product update, you can proceed with testing orders next.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Make sure you have verified that you're connecting successfully. \nCreating a <strong>new<\/strong> product online is the easier first step. \n\nNote: Once the online order is created in the POS, the POS will then trigger a two way inventory sync <strong>for<\/strong> each of the line items in the online order.  \n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the Orders Action configuration instructions; the question marks will help guide you in your setup. When a WooCommerce order is downloaded into your POS, your inventory will also be updated with all the line items in your WooCommerce order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To download an order into your LightSpeed X POS, Kosmos eSync will need to obtain the order status from WooCommerce. For example, &#8216;Processing&#8217; is a successful WooCommerce order status.  You can configure your order Action to download an order in any status you choose. You will need to assign a location register, payment type, and create a product SKU for shipping, online tax, and discounts. The order status Action updates WooCommerce orders downloaded into your POS  with a status update.
