Integrating LightSpeed R-Series Retail Products with Sellbrite

How to integrate your LightSpeed retail items with Sellbrite – Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Etsy and Google Shopping

Now that you have connected your LightSpeed to Sellbrite below you’ll see the criteria to create a new product, update an existing product, and price.

Note trials are limited to 48 hours or two days of product updates. With paid subscriptions you can go back and look for products added or inventory updates over a year or longer. With paid subscriptions, you can simply update your Action Dates via the calendar to go back a year or more.

Criteria to Create a New Product in Sellbrite from LightSpeed

1. Create Simple Products & Update Price (Send Standard Action)

  • Item marked in LightSpeed for List Item on Sale on Web Store with ‘webstore’ tag.
  • Item has SKU in LightSpeed
  • Item has a Weight in LightSpeed (not required)
  • Item is Active in LightSpeed
  • Item has a Product Name in LightSpeed
  • Item has Inventory Value (Zero or higher) in LightSpeed
  • Item has ‘Online’ Price Value (Zero or higher) in LightSpeed
    • Note also create ‘Online Sale’ to set sale price online.
  • Item has a Category in LightSpeed
  • Product Description in LightSpeed (not required)

2. Create Matrix Products & Update Price (Send Matrix Action)

  • See creating standard items, plus
  • Item has a Parent Product Name in LightSpeed
  • Item has Parent Product Description in LightSpeed (not required)
  • Every child item SKU (variant) is marked with a ‘webstore’ tag.
  • Matching Items – Matrix Parent Name must match POS and Sellbrite.

Criteria to Sync Inventory with Existing Products Run your inventory only Actions to update inventory to Sellbrite after a new product has been created. You will also need to update your inventory time stamp in order to trigger new inventory updates.

3. Sync inventory only Standard Products Action. (Send Standard Inventory Action)

  • Item has a new inventory time stamp in Lightspeed POS.
  • Item has a SKU in LightSpeed
  • Item is Active in LightSpeed
  • Item marked in LightSpeed for List Item on Sale on Web Store

4. Sync inventory only Matrix Products Action. (Send Matrix Inventory Action)

  • Every child Item (variant) has a new Time Stamp in LightSpeed POS.
  • Every child Item (variant) has a SKU in LightSpeed
  • Every child Item (variant) is Active in LightSpeed
  • Every child Item (variant) marked in LightSpeed for List Item on Sale on Web Store

Note: The time stamp for creating products in LightSpeed is different from the time stamp to update inventory only in LightSpeed. So, running your Send Products Action after a sale in your POS will not update inventory. You will need to RUN your Update Inventory Levels Action in this case.
